CINE
TRANS EUROPE est le nom de la collaboration - unique en
son genre - qui réunit actuallement quatre festivals opposant
résistance au cinéma qui rebat les mêmes
matrices d'émotions et de concepts, incapable ou
réticent d'en finir avec les interprétations
dominantes et réductrices. Cette collaboration
inaugurée en Avril 2009 se poursuit à Paris
et dans tous lieux des partenaires : les festivals de Budapest,
de Madrid et de Syracuse.

ARES Film & Media Festival promotes a connection between visual art, multimedia languages and social responsibility, considering innovative visual art as a vehicle for social cohesion and thus creating an open network aimed at encouraging and linking all the local and international innovative expressions and experiences of culture.
ARES establishes a location able to introduce innovation in the local area with the latest technology in multimedia and visual art fields, stimulating the meeting between innovative artistic projects and the social and educational systems.
The Festival focuses on experimental, animation and documentary films having an innovative and different look on reality and presents works which use expressive multiple mediums. Art hybrid works, made with the help of videos, photographs, sound or the 'assemblage " of different art techniques, with the main purpose to promote an eclectic art aimed at turn the viewer into an active actor of the artistic work, involving him and making him the real protagonist of the social process of Art.

In a weird atmosphere, the images set out for an exciting adventure. Did the images represent the secret signals, a mysterious journey or a silent protest? By means of “Guerrilla Art” action, this project presented the conversation between the images and city environment. It means to mix calculations, environment and visual images to present an ironic and humorous contrast.
