Herzog takes the love duet "O Soave Fanciulla" ("Oh Gentle Angel") from Act One of the opera and sets it to images of the Mursi people in southwest Ethiopia. The film is part of a project sponsored by the English National Opera and the satellite channel Sky Arts in which directors were asked to reimagine an operatic number in purely visual terms. |

Un document étrange, évoquant le Kazakstan traditionnel aux prises avec l’exode et le déracinement contemporains.
„Exodus“ is showing a weared off tradition in the present Kazakhstan, like a strange and powerful tale. Men and women are in the process of packing up their Yurtas (nomadic tents). An ancient shamanistic normad ritual „The Closing Road“ is persecuted, only perceived by a girl, who is icaptivated by what is ment to be left behind.
Exodus is on the same time evoking the global uprooting. |

His account of the four suicides seauentially occurred in Lucania fradually shifts in an analysis of Italy's current condition. It is a solitary meditation in which two words are ruthlessly repeated: "Mediocrity! Mediocrity!" |
