In 1942, in a remote Alsatian village, lives Marie. The war has affected her family, leading her older sister Suzanne to join the Resistance. One day, Marie finds a wounded man in the woods. Believing at first that he is French, she brings him home to care for him. But soon, the girls realize that the man is not who they thought he was. Speaking German, he poses a danger to both of them.
