the film. This poem opens as follows: "No longer, Iniji/ Sphinx,
spheres, false signs/ Obstacles on the road to Iniji/ River banks
withdraw/ Plinths collapse/ World. No more world/ only an amalgam /
Stones no longer know how to be stones/ of all the beeds on earth
around us/ Where is Iniji's bed?" |
