CONTRAPPASSOUNO is an alien body that absorbs the energy of our brain. It is a limbo where false myths, lost souls, perverted frequencies, rusty gears and scattered damnations get mixed.

Milan, via Lazzaretto, near the railway station, June 2002. 6x9 is the short but intense portrait of a woman and her city. Mara has been working as a stationer for almost 20 years, not far from the place where I work. She sells pencils and notebooks to the neighbourhood kids, but in the last few years the large-scale retail trade has forced small traders to close down because of their lack of competitiveness. However, Mara has been lucky: she still earns her living by selling plastic envelops. 6x9 is the most requested size... even Mara knows what they are for.
