Amelina "Coca" San Martín grew up in a remote Patagonian location inside the volcanic caldera of an extinct supervolcano, rich in archaeological and paleontological remains. Her humble life passes by amidst her world-famous archaeological collection, her cats, her fish and her beloved "choikes".

This is the story of a global genocide unfolding worldwide as small farmers are being dispossessed of their land and way of life as corporate agribusinesses accelerate the global trend of land grabbing. As «Free Trade» and neoliberal policies annihilate protective levers that were allowing themselves decent incomes, small-holding farmers are left in a cycle of debt and despair, with a scary rise of suicides, cancer and migration that can only lead them to 21st century slavery survival.
