In a lonely holiday residence populated by old photographs with people from another era, a woman gets up one morning and wanders around the place although she never gets direct contact with other people. As the day goes by and a storm approaches, the beings in the photos are gaining more presence while the real people disappear. Finally, at nightfall, she will realize that she can not escape her destiny. In the same way, they have functioned as a method of exclusion, which for years has systematically silenced the voice of populations that have been victims of violence. With this video art I seek to achieve a transgression and a rejection to those impositions through my active and non-passive perspective as an artist and a woman in a patriarchal society. The above can lead to questioning that viewing in public space and how the role played by the representation of women in the sexual construction.

Like an inexplicable dream, erratic gestures come to the surface. Re-cover splits its two meanings and pits then against each other. A Janus-faced melting pot of dust, sentence fragments, gestures and flash frames. This Found Footage Film is a technological situation, a black hole devouring itself. It is a cancer in denial of its own narrative. Re-cover salvages the lingering fragments of a lost history through the very act of burial.

The film is a representation of love: obsessive, idealistic, naive and extremely focused. Filmed in an abstracted atmosphere, in implacable conditions, the place is tangled to the story and the narrative. K and H come back to where it all happened to reflect for the last time before leaving.
