An under-age romanian girl is stopped by the theft alarm and a series of misunderstandings arise.

'Searching for Eden' is investigating how we experience the fact of being alive, as human beings - consciousness and body - with senses and emotions. The senses are gateways for internal and external influences.Through my work I want to explore how the body and mind can be affected. I am interested in movement, rhythm, sounds, words, the sound of the voice, the use of music, and how to make use of these elements to create varying moods and moments that affect our senses.
'Searching for Eden', has the journey as it's motif. The material is stretching between destinations in several countries, and shows (seemingly) natural environments situated both above and below water. By mixing this audiovisual material in different ways I wish to create a complex environment, a place in time and space that occur - and exists only - in the video. I want to place the viewer on a floating path where there is the change in mood that leads him/her through a series of «rooms» during a certain length of time. I wish to examine whether this gives the viewer a sense of having experienced something and try to understand a little of what a «cathartic» experience actually means.

''Into my Darkened Home'' is a drama about Sara, a 18 year old Norwegian-Kurdish girl, who is in a secret relationship with Erik. Sara lives a double-life, but after her parents discovers her relationship with Erik, she is restrained from him and all her previous privileges. Sara wants to live a life as a Norwegian girl in Norway, now she wants to break out of her family. This is hard for her as it affects her families honor, and the safety of her boyfriend Erik, it gets even harder when her parents makes her leave the country to mary her cousin in Kurdistan. Sara is pushed into a corner and has to make a decision, break away from her family or preserve the family honor.

This section intends to discover and explore different spaces and cultures with the aim to understand the specific regional, political and social circumstances, do reconstruct the emotional and intellectual spécificities of a special region or country. In this critical work we belief it's essencial to prefer films which rufuse, in its form and expression, the retake of sterotype ways of reality restituition. This refuse is an act of resistance against the actual period of "globalisation", which inclins to impose one dominating model of culture and habitutes.
