The steam from the hot water fills the room as a woman stands in the shower. She is preparing for something this evening. She is beautiful and elegant. Is she going out or is she expecting a visit? What is she up to? This film is part of the Digterfilm project that was launched in March 2013. 5 poets were asked to write a short text about ordinary life and living in the Danish city Aarhus. The texts were given to 5 film directors - they had to write a manuscript and direct a short film with the poet's text in the centre of the story. 5 poets, 5 film directors = 5 poetic short films.

Maja Skjøth Hegelund

The film offers a look into an imaginary future city. The city is based on the friendship between North Korean leader Kim Jong- Un and American former Basketball player, Dennis Rodman. The two have recently developed a controversial friendship and this film is a suggestion to what a city might look like, if these two men were in charge. In the film we meet 3 different characters, each representing a certain way of life.

The FISDN presents film secions focused on different countries and regions. This section intends to discover and explore different spaces and cultures with the aim to understand the specific regional, political and social circumstances, do reconstruct the emotional and intellectual spécificities of a special region or country. In this critical work we belief it's essencial to prefer films which rufuse, in its form and expression, the retake of sterotype ways of reality restituition. This refuse is an act of resistance against the actual period of "globalisation", which inclins to impose one dominating model of culture and habitutes.
