Process is a documentary that intentionally blurs the line between fact and fiction, investigating the emotions involved in the art of creating, exposing the process of its own production. The film highlights and compares the arguable fragility of the craft of making within the contemporary landscape, with that of the film onto which that craft has been photographically rendered. It explores the relationship between these two endangered mediums, the processes that relate to them, their materiality. the redundancy they may face due to the rise of new media and planned obsolescence, and questions what this means to us as makers. |

On the one hand, the families of „public enemies” had to be kept somewhat farther away. On the other, under populated territories of the Soviet Empire needed to be cultivated. So the family of little Belarusian Alexej Kliunia was moved to an island in the midst of Ladoga Lake in Carelia

The festival prefers film treating important subjects in an original way, films which don't avoid ambiguity and complexity, films, which are sometimes stay enigmatic, so that refection and mind are going on moving, exceptional films, which covers all kind of artistically expressions, films open for esthetical innovation, shortly films reflecting the perturbing strangeness of the modern world in a complex way.
