The film intends to alter the meaning and information of the original footage, which is an old educational film about a girl’s visit at the dentist’s. This is achieved by means of various editorial interventions, such as pace, choice of detail, sound and cut. By doing so the film is transformed into an eerie scene in which the meaning of the original footage is modified and unmasked.
